To be 100% honest - they are worth about 1.50 for top lot  if you have the glands or extracted the essence, you might get another 2.00 for that :?

Lyonch is right the extract and glands are worth the same as the pelt right now but you ARE getting good practice so keep after it!

I would actually worry more about the glands right now then the pelt. Pure Skunk Essence is liquid gold to trappers

Does this look about right for how it's been fleshed? This is my first try at anything like this.

It is hard to tell in the pics, but if you flesh all of the fat and any muscle off down to the milky white leather you should be good to go. You can put that on a medium coon board for drying. The first few are always tough to do, but when you get the hand of it, everything should run smooth :D Be careful on those skunk stomachs because they are paper thin and can tear easily when fleshing

Thanks, I'll see how it dries. If it dries up well, I'm going to make a hat out of it for my fiance with a snow hare inner lining. She sure is a trooper  Hope I can get the rest of the smell out of the skunk though. I've washed it a few times in a concoction of baking soda, hot water, hydrogen peroxide and dish soap. Did an O.K. job at getting most of the smell out, but there's still a decent amount of it in there. Anyone have good luck at getting it out?
