Cat season opened yesterday and I picked up this tom. Under a Juniper tree with gland lure and urine. I've been having my dad run up the river in his jet boat and drop me off at good looking spots and while he's fishing I'm setting. Works out fricken great.

Next check at the same spot that the last tom was caught I had this female. A very smart trapper aka"Coyotehunter" told me to ditch the drags and stake em out so I could reset the circle and what do you know? Worked like a charm.

Nice work. How long of a cat season do you guys have in Oregon? I decided to steal the idea you got from CH and try staking my cat sets. I hope to have the same results as you.

first one stretched out to 42 1/2 inches PG. second one is close to 40. We get three months and five tags. Dad got his tags as well so we have ten.I havn't even started my land line for them yet due to the shitty weather and bird season is till jan 1. but the river line is producing so far. Its just a short stretch that we can get to in a jet boat but I havn't started on the other side of the river yet due to bird hunters.
