This is the first year they are putting it on. I believe they want to do another one in Feb sometime but not sure on that. Suppose they will see how this one goes first. It is a guy that owns the Buckshot Lodge in Lakota that is putting it on. 2 person 50 team max and a chance to win a DPMS Sportical Rifle :D

Sounds like a fun tournament!! make sure you mention it to him that the coyote classic is happening this weekend and that there would probably be more teams there, if it was on a different date. The classic draws a lof of attention this weekend. i hope all goes well for him. Let us know what the rules were and how the tournament was ran if you hunt it.

We have found a couple coyote dens and it looks like a boneyard with all the deer bones and hide laying around. i really think they are taking down the deer heard, especially noticed this year. The big reason why he is putting on the tourny. Saw 3 yotes take down a nice buck this year about 800 yards out looking through the spotting scope

What time of year did you find the "den" with the bones. Without a doubt coyotes are hard on deer.

Make sure to post how many teams entered.

Both were found this fall, one when we were out goose huning and the other when we were deer hunting.
