Dear Hunters & Friends,

This year there have been some changes added to Dupree Dog Days, we strive every year to put on one of the best one day coyote contests in the land, we believe these changes will help us to do that.

Remember all the proceeds from this event go directly to the Dupree AAU Wrestling Club and all the dollars help local children. This event has grown every year for the past 3 years and we hope it continues.

The changes are as follows:

1) We are limiting the contest to 70 teams, although our biggest contest was last year at 59 that was such a surprise we don't want to be unable to accommodate everyone at the last minute, for this reason we decided to limit the contest. This year we have people calling from as far away as Florida for information and we would like to make sure we don't grow to fast.

2) We are asking you to PRE-REGISTER, this will make the Friday night events go faster with the increased number of teams we experienced last year, it will also guarantee you get into the top 70 teams entered. Attached to this email are registration forms, and a copy of the rules and regulations. Please fill out completely and mail back to the address on the sheet with your entry fee.

3) Entry fees will be $80, this will increase the prize pool 33% and give us an opportunity to pay more places without taking cash away from the winners. The breakdown is this $50 to the general contest, minus $5 processing fee. $15 to Big Dog and $15 to Little Dog with 100% payback on these contests.

4) The Hoop Crashers Basketball Team has purchased a Savage Rifle in .204 to be raffled off and given away the day of the contest. This is a $574 value that someone will walk away with for a $5 investment. Tickets are on sale now, contact Kayla Farlee or Murdock Halligan for more information.

5) The Pioneer Days Committee has agreed to open a wet bar at this year's event to go along with the AAU Supper on Friday Night, this should help attract more Calcutta buyers to the event thus adding more money to the overall pot.

We appreciate all of your support in the past, and we look forward to seeing you on February 8th, at Pioneer Hall in Dupree, SD.
