I gave them my opinion on the subject and this is the route they decided to take. We will have to really watch the temps. at the check-ins.

I really don't see too much of a problem with handing blocks out Fri. Most places do that. I just got back for The St. Francis Hunt and they hand blocks out on a Fri. night and you don't have to check in until Sun. at 3:00 pm. Your not allowed to hunt at night. Of course that is a two day tournament where as this is a one day. If I understand correctly , it would be quite a inconvenience to pick up your blocks the day of the tournament. Am I thinking on the same lines here.? If your going to temp them it shouldn't matter as the coyotes should all follow sequence as to when you shot them. Has there been a lot of cheating in the past?

I GUESS WHAT I WAS THINKING WHEN PUTTING ON A TOURNY YOU TRY PULL AS MANY PEOPLE AS POSSIBLE FROM ALL OVER.. WELL IF YOUR IN BIS AND WORK TILL 5 HOW YOU SUPPOSE TO GET TO KENMARE BUY 7 NOT GOIN TO HAPPEN... I KNOW JERRY YOU RUN THAT HUNT IN SD AND ARE A RELATIVE TO RON.. AND IT IS GREAT YOUR HELPIN HIM OUT ... CAUSE IT IS A GOOD DEAL FOR KENMARE.. TO ME IT DIFFICULT TO GET TO KENMARE ON A FRIDAY NIGHT BEFORE 10:00...
AND WHY I DONT LIKE THE BLOCKS OUT THE NIGHT BEFORE..
IN MOST SPORTS SOMEONE IS GOIN TO TRY BEND THE RULES AS MUCH AS THEY CAN.... AND IF YOU DONT GIVE OUT THE BLOCKS TILL THAT MORNING LESS CHANCE OF IT HAPPING...

BUT THE UP SIDE TO IT WITH JAMIE BEING THERE HE KNOWS HIS HUNTING
AND COYOTES.. AND KNOWS WHAT HE IS DOING..
JUST MY THOUGHTS DONT MEAN TO MAKE ANYONE MAD OR STEP ON ANYONES TOES..
BUT GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE HOPE IT TURNS OUT WELL ...
AND I SHOULD NOT EVEN SAY ANYTHING CAUSE I WONT BE THERE ANYWAY. BUT I JUST WANT TO SEE IT GO WELL WITH NO COMPLAINING AND HAVE MORE TOURNY IN YEARS TO COME..

We had a great tournament, everything went off as planned! We had a great bunch of sportsman show up to support our hunt, and most of all, support our effort of building a new fire hall. I would have to say that all the hard work, and effort that anyone that had anything to do with helping us put on this tournament payed off enough that we have the start to a great annual event here in Kenmare. We are already looking forward to next year! I would like to personally thank Jamie and Brad for all they did! Also to everyone that supported us through door prizes, and helping with anything in anyway. Thank you! As everyone on the department that helped said, "It sure beats doing a pancake feed as a fund raiser!"
