Oh come on man. You gonna make me guess how it went? How far does that range go? It looks pretty open.

Hi Coyotehunter. When I was messing with the 243WSSM I found out there's a ton of info out there if you do a search. There actually is a 243WSSM forum if I recall.
I know 3-4 guys with Olympic ARs that have nothing but praise for them.Good luck.

I'd love to be able to shoot out to 600 without having a black angus in my scope. That won't happen until the crops come out. I'm sure you'll get it shooting. Looks like you've got room for a laser, a flashlight, an ipod, and a smoothie maker on that handguard. JK...

thanks dcoy I am already on it. yep it looks like it has a unlimited supply of options to empty your pocket book. I was reading a bit about a green light intensifier that works with your scope to enhance night time visibilty. I have never enjoyed calling at night but I have done it a number of times. Need to get it shooting before I buy any more stuff for it.

Now that Olmpic is a sponsor, can you get them to post their announcement of their new UMAR(ultimate magnum ARs)rifles here?
I understand they will have one in 22-250.
Sorry to hi-jack but thought it would be cool to get all the new info.(and pics). :D

I sent it back last saturday. they are going to check a few things for me. tell you the truth it maybe just me. they were going to check the headspacing and the gas port. about 30% of my spent rounds were not ejecting all of the way. I think the proper term is stovepiping. correct me if I am wrong. it maybe something as simple as me just not full length sizing my backloads far enough down the web of the brass. I guess this can cause the same issues. hopefully have it back soon.

Ch I don't know if it would make much difference but did you try a small base die for sizeing

no I did not, just using standard dies. is that what you are using on yours?

The thing about semi auto's and single shot rifles is you have to resize the brass more than you would for a bolt gun.. Just keep turning the die down till the stovepipe issue stops or just be done with it and F-L resize all the brass every loading...

yep thats what i use its supposed to bump the shoulders back and size the case a little smaller for easier feeding and ejecting in semiautos.

Sounds like it is short stroking to me.

Could be several things. Would it run with factory ammo?
