52 gn Berger Varmint Match bullets on top of 37.5 gn of H-380 works for me!

I use to use a 50g Nosler BT with 34.0g Varget, win brass, CCI200 primers ~3400fps. Slow but decent on fur.
I also used the 52g sierra Match with the same load, they did very well also.

Made some adjustments and found that the Sierra 50 grain moly coated Varminter spitzers with 36 grains of 4895 to be the load I was looking for. 3874 out of the muzzle.

A friend recently gave me about 100 of his reloads(sold his 22-250).Not sure of components but they run 40 gr BTs at 3975 and MUCH to my amazement have been very fur friendly.Small sample size but shot 7 with it so far and only one had any significant fur damage.That one was about 75 yds above me on hill.Hit in chest but hit the spine way back on exit and made a bad exit hole.A couple others were close but no damage.On a couple small entrance,no exit.Bang flops. :D
If anyone interested I could get his recipe.

38 grains of 4064.Fed 210 primers.

I used to shoot 38 gr. of H380 behind a 52 gr. Sierra BTHP. was very happy with this combo
