243 load data

Postby NDsniper » Thu Jan 26, 2012 5:54 pm

Just switched from a 22 250 to a .243 for coyote hunting. Would like some recommended handloads. My gun is a Model 7

I use to use an 85g Seirra spitzer or HP. They both worked equally well on coyotes and were very decent on hides. I haven't loaded them in some years though, so i couldn't tell you what my load was off the top of my head. But I was using varget and CCI200 primers. It was a good combo.

I also used an 87g Hornady match and that did pretty well also. same powder.
