Re: Nikon Monarch 1200 Laser Rangfinder
i know there has been several discusions over the years on this site about rangefinders and I have owned several. I have a Leica that has to be there first compact............not sure how long I have had it....maybe close to 10 years or so. No problems what so ever. got it on sale I think in the spring at Scheels in Grand forks, ND for around $400.....love it. I use it several times each week year round. I would recommend one to anyone.

Re: Nikon Monarch 1200 Laser Rangfinder
It seems as though anything that is bedded and beyond 300 yards in pure white snow, takes several clicks with the rangfinder to get a range. I can take mine out at night and range things as far as i want, and all day during the day, but when that snow comes i find myself taking a lot longer to range.
