Mag xtender

Hey all I found a pretty cool add on for a 700 rem. It's a magazine extender made by arms tech it'll give you 7 rounds of 243 or 22-250 or I believe 9 for a 223 or 204. It was really simple to put on only took about two minutes just knock out the pin that holds your floor plate on take the follower and spring out and install them into the mag xtender the same way you took them out and reinstall it with the mag xtender with the original pin and your done. I had to sand a little bit on the front of mine to get it to operate properly but it wasn't a big deal only sanded for a second or two and it operated flawlessly. They are a pretty cheap add on only $20 out of midway. If your a lousy shot like me those extra two rounds might pay off :D Good luck and good hunting

Lets keep in mind the mentality of bolt action vs AR platform. One shot one kill or hope more is less. I think it's a great tool but you start to blend together a good shot and a good caller????

How far away can a coyote be by the time youve gotten to the seventh round in a bolt gun?

And if he aint dead by the fourth round, you should probably hit the range more than the calls. Just sayin.

Yep I think I'll hit the range some more. I put this on my rifle and think it is an excellent add on I have many many times been pulling out extra shells to finish off cripples that were results of doubles and triples. Ya I'm not the greatest shot in the world but god damnit I'm persistent!!!

Five. Consider yourself corrected. :D

And no, not sportin the drop mag anymore. They're a pain in the ass. I tried it for the extra mag length it offers so you can extend COAL and follow the lands as your throat erodes. Not worth it in my opinion.

I stand corrected that's a very nice rifle though. Being suppressed you must get lots of multiples?
