well, the exterior is mostly finished. few odds and ends to take care of. we're thinking of finishing off the interior with cedar also. right now it's water-tight and we spent the night in it last night. very peacefull waking up to all the song birds. spent most of the day cleaning up dead-fall and burning brush piles.
cold Schmitties tasted mighty fine last night :mrgreen:

thanks Crtr. i did have a bit of help. my dad and Denise were on hand a few days. got he bird feeders out, the does are dropping fawns, i have some NICE bucks showing up on cameras.. life is good. :D

had a good visit with Tbush last night. he stopped by the cabin and had a cold one with me. gave him a quick tour of the property just before dark. here's a photo i took today. tree's all leafed out and its really quite shaded. love that part :D deer are getting used to it. tracks come withing 40 yards.

just about done with the interior. the ceiling is cedar boards off an old fence. got the stove hooked up and it works great. 2 walls are t&g pine. 2 are redwood lap siding that i got for free :D
