Has anybody thought about when the first tournament is???? My fall already seems to be getting full and i would like to tel people that i can't do nothing that weekend because i plan on competing in another fun coyote hunting tournament. before you know it the off season will be the in season and its time to chase one of the top of the food chain critters again.

Come on you gotta have Thompson! We want a quality tournament this year not a driving competition like they had in Cogswell. That was the place wasn't it McNally?

Minot may be tough but Thompson should be a go. I was even thinking perhaps October. December has not been a good month in the past for that one.

October would be a good decision. December is tough with the finishing of deer season and the muzzleloaders starting. What time period of October were you thinking. Early? Late?

I think the first weekend in Oct. would be the best one. Before pheasant season opener too. That is on the 12th or 13th I think.

Jamie

I know that you can't rank a pheasant above a coyote but you have to look at the whole situation. 4 days hunting roosters, geese, and predators in a log cabin handbuilt by the father in law himself. The company of 4 or 5 real good friends. Amberbock flowing freely in the evenings, suppers of grilled deer steak, baked potatoes, deep fried turkeys, latenight campfires with a bottle of whiskey passed around, all the while watching the father in law shooting bottlerockets out of his teeth! I can't miss it!
