Sorry to hear about that Randy!! The knowledge that man must have had about the given species must have been remarkable to say that least!

Like Bill Austin, 10,000 coyotes in 30yrs, then liver cancer took him, the only calls I have are his.

Tough deal Randy, sorry to read that.
On the subject of summers,it was pretty nice on Lake Of The Woods Bucs.
A sideline would be about wolves though. No shortage of them.I'm on a large island(guessing 2 miles long,1 to 1.5 wide or so).Used to be full of deer.No more.Instead of 5-10 in the yard daily, saw one there all summer.Another resident there had their dog killed by them. That prompted the Mn DNR to kill one wolf.Ha.Twice during the summer they howled from sunrise to nearly noon.A guy I know well called a few into close range with his foxpro for the hell of it.
Man if they ever open that season.....On the other hand,200 yds out in the lake from my place is Ontario and their islands are open so.....Never know,I may have to draft an ugly old carpenter to drag a couple out for me.
