new member sayin' hi!!!

Post by tinbird »

Hi gang, glad to have found a website that in chock full of useful info on predator hunting.
I'm new to the game, hoping to get out after coyotes this winter up here in the interior of British Columbia, near Kamloops.
I realize fur prices are quite low, but the coyotes, wolves and cougar are all pretty much at epidemic levels and something has to be done what with no government 'control' programs, the predation is very telling on the deer, moose populations as well as livestock.
I plan on working up a load for my 204 with H4895 in either the 39 gr. SBK or the 40 grain Berger (haven't found any 35 grainers yet).
Just recently got a FoxPro Spitfire, so feel that I'm doing not bad in the equipment line.
anyway, presently trying to find the best 'spray' to douse dead coyotes with or is Raid the end all be all.
The search continues....

all the best

Welcome! Lots of knowledge on here! Glad to hear that someone isn't waiting for the government to handle things!
