That is the best area! I have way more success calling in the wide open rolling hills!

How far are you walking in from the road? How long are you staying in a area that you are finding tracks? Are you making one stand and leaving or are you working through the whole area?

We have tried locating with not much activity, there are coyote tracks all over the place, but to get them to howl or answer back has been real tough. we have been on stand from 20-40min. Off the road, depends on the terrain, some spots 1\4 mile to 1\2 mile off any road, most roads here are every mile. in the areas there are tracks we try to make a few sits in the area and give them plenty of time to show up at each stand, and depending on the wind situation we try to work through the area, but some of it is so wide open coulees ect... that it is hard to keep moving in on them without getting busted in some cases.

hey guys thanks for the info, if you have more keep it coming
