New member saying hello!!!

Post by JeffB »

just dropping a line to say hello to everyone. I haven't hunted yotes before, and their overrunning central NY.

Heres my first question..I'm planning to ask farmers in the area permission to hunt , is there any important questions I need to ask? I was going to ask about the times the dogs are seen, and group size..any thing else?

Thanks for any info

Good to have you here. Yep ask were, when how many and have them give you a tour of the borders. Do your homework scouting before you just go in and start tooting. Dont take into account what they saw so much though and do your own recon. Have fun.

I always like to know what time of day they are hearing and seeing them.

Thanks for the info!!! I just spoke to my 1st farmer..and he has a serious issue w/ the yotes taking his chickens!!! Asked if he'd like help , and gave me the go ahead to promptly remove them. Sounds like they are around night and day!

Too bad deer season is coming up..gotta wait a few weeks :(

I always like to ask if they have any neighbors or friends that might want some coyotes removed also one guy can lead to 5.
