1 hr at range and good results...22-250 READY!

Post by DirtyDog »

Hit the range today for about an hour to shoot the 22-250 for the first time.

Savage 10 XP chambered in 22-250
Hornady Superformance Vmax 50 grainers
41 degrees F
Lil to no breeze

Perfect day to be at the range. First time I have ever shot this gun. Shot two shot groups.
First three groups I just wasn't too crazy about my form, etc. Here are the first few groups at 100 yards.

Looks like your ready!! If you can shoot 200 yds at your range I would suggest to do so ( groups like that at 200 are ever better) but its ready either way :D

Good luck to ya. I have family that lives around Westminster Co. I'ld be interested to hear how the calling is in your part of the state. :)

DustyC - my plan to get out and chase dogs this weekend may be put on hold b/c of a pending snow storm up where I was headed!
