Tough year for beaver hunters over east here. Another boat load went over last night on the Ottertail.

does anyone wear a life vest these days. I know it is cold but good grief. I grew up on the Goose river and shot beaver down there most of my life. Beer guns and boats don't mix and I never hunted beaver in a boat with out a jacket on. If you have not hunted beaver out of a boat you are really missing something, next to calling coyotes it is one of the funnest things you will ever do.

Common sense goes a long ways!!! Use your head not your "manly balls" when it comes to making a decision.

I think its just another one of those "new" things thats getting popular (kinda like how predator calling is "new"). More people doing it, the more you'll hear of accidents.

I rarely to never used to see guys floating for flattails, I had 5 boatloads come floating by me Saturday while setting the river.
