agressive male

Post by Coyotehunter »

Well, I was decoyed off of a den by the female after I knocked over the male. He came in and worked the dog hard. Great to watch as they came over the hill through the pine trees. I just could not get a shot at the bitch through all the trees. I ended up following her for about a mile or so and setting up 4 times. She would come in just enough to pull the dogs to her than head back out again. I should have just stayed put but it has been getting so warm that I knew if I waited to long the dogs where going to quit on me. I took a chance and was hoping for at least a long shot. It just did not work out that way. I went back the next day and found her again but those pups where pretty mobile. I never got a look at her but did hear 2 pups and the female barking that them shutting them down. She moved off into the sage, 2 hours later I still had not seen her.
