2nd 90
3rd 80
4th 70
5th 60

7th 40
8th 30
9th 20
10th 10

This is only for the Coyotehunter.net sponsored tournaments, corect???

How many tournaments are we going to have this year???

Is this an individual or team points??? What if you have different partners in a couple of the events???

is there going to be any three man events and how does that effect the points???

Correct!!

It looks as though there are 5 in North Dakota this year, and one in Arizona as of now. It is possible to have another one, but administration is working on that.

Team Points. If you hunt by yourself i think you will always need to hunt by yourself. This is something coyotehunter.ent is currently discussing to make sure they have all of the bases covered.

All tournaments will be a two man team only. The only tournament that was three man last year was the williston hunt.

Thats my problem, I got a couple of partners and don't know who is hunting with me in the events....... This might not work out for my situation.......

the pay out should be pretty good. does not matter if there is one team or 50 the payout will be the same. I am looking at 75 team max for all the 2 day hunts except the Classic which for now will remain at 50 teams. the one day hunt will probably be 35-50 not sure yet.

I want to float the idea of having a team leader who the points are assigned to. If you decide to get with another team member the points can only trasfer with one of you, same with the registration. Example: Tom and Bill register and hunt together at 2 events. Tom and Bill each hunt one each more hunts with different partners. Tom is the team leader and will carry the points with him. Bill can hunt with a different partner but he will not retain any points and would have to pay the registration fee to enter himself and his new partner in the coyote classic points series. Tom would be able to retain all the points and not have to pay the $50 registration fee again. The team leader or captain would have to be decided at the beginning of the season. just look for some thoughts and input.

Would the team leader then decide who gets the other half of the tournament series winnings?

what about each guy reg as a single, then you only have to keep track of 1 guy at a time, so if tom and bill are both reg and hunt together and shoot 3 coyotes and take 1st place the points do not get split between then they both get full equal points that way if they change partners they go into it the next contest with the same points but let say toms new team shoots more than bills new team..Now tom gets higher points than bill and is not punished for swithing partners, so in the end of the season we would end up with a single person as high point UNLESS they stayed together the whole time then 2 winners or with this metheod we could have 2 totaly diff guys tie, but more likely not with the point per pound deal... you might get more to reg this way than having to stay with the same team member??? I for one would not reg. if we had to stay with the same guy.
