Luke Oyloe Memorial Coyote Hunt
Williston, ND • Oct 25, 2014


Coyotehunter.net will hold a one-day coyote hunting tournament in Williston, ND October 25, 2015.

There will be a rules meeting and Calcutta Auction at 7:00 p.m. October 24 at the American Legion. Blocks will be distributed at that time. The afternoon check-in will be at 7:00 p.m. at the American Legion October 25.

This hunting tournament is a one-day contest with a $100 per team entry fee (see rules for details). 1st 30%, 2nd 25%, 3rd 20%, 4th 15%, & 5th 10% place finishes will be awarded to the teams with the highest one-day total. Additional prizes (likely to include guns and gas cards, like last year). $30,000 in cash and prizes awarded in 2013, including 12 DPMS Panther Arms AR15 rifles. A scholarship will be awarded based on participation in the tournament. Entrants must be in their senior year at Trinity Christian School in Williston, ND and submit a 1000-word essay on coyote hunting. After the tournament concludes, a five member panel of judges will select a winner from all entries received.

To raise money for the scholarship, we will hold a Calcutta on Friday night and auction the teams off to the highest bidder. You do not have to register for the hunt to participate in the Calcutta. Cash will be awarded for the largest and smallest coyotes.

Winter Classic
Mandan, ND Dec. 4-6, 2014

Coyotehunter.net will hold a two-day coyote hunting tournament in Mandan, ND December 4 - 6, 2014.

There will be a rules meeting at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, December 4 at the Seven Seas Hotel in Mandan. Blocks will be distributed at that time. The call-in check-in will be at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, December 5th; the contact phone number for this check-in will be given out at the rules meeting. On Saturday there will be a check- in at 7:00 p.m. at the hotel.

This hunting tournament is a two-day contest with a $300 entry fee per team (see rules for details). 1st 30%, 2nd 25%, 3rd 20%, 4th 15%, 5th 10% place finishes will be awarded to the teams with the highest two-day total. Over $15,000 in Cash, plaques, A pair of DPMS Upppers and door prizes will be awarded to winning teams in 2014. Cash will be awarded for the largest and smallest coyotes (100% pay back). After expenses have been met 100% of the remaining funds will be available for payout. All prize money will be mailed to contestants the week after the tournament All rules will be strictly enforced.

A block of rooms has been set aside at a special group rate at the Seven Seas Hotel.

13th Annual North Dakota Coyote Classic
Dickinson, ND • Jan. 8 -10, 2015


Coyotehunter.net is proud to host the Upper Midwest’s largest two-day coyote hunting tournament at the Dickinson, North Dakota Quality Inn January 8 – 10, 2015.

Entry fees are just $300 per team with a maximum of 50 teams participating. Last year’s competitors will have an opportunity to register before Sept. 1, 2014, after which the tournament will be open to everyone on a first come-first served basis.

If you did not hunt last year and would like to register, please do so online. Your team’s eligibility will be based on your registration date. If the maximum number of teams has been reached, you may opt to either receive a 100% refund or you may remain on our cancellation list (your fees will be fully refunded if a slot does not open up for your team).

Cash, plaques and prizes will be awarded to the teams with the highest two-day total. Payback will be as follows: 1st 25%, 2nd 20%, 3rd 15%, 4th 12%, 5th 8%, 6th 6%, 7th 5%, 8th 4%, 9th 3% & 10th 2%. Thursday night, January 8th at the Quality Inn we will host a Calcutta and auction off teams to the highest bidder (90% payback to the top three teams). Cash will be awarded for the largest and smallest coyotes (100% payback) and will be paid out each night. All rules will be strictly enforced. At least one member of each team should be in attendance at the rules meeting January 8th at 7:00 pm. More than $20,000 dollars in cash and prizes including DPMS Uppers, was awarded at last year’s event.

$100 pay in per team to register for the points championship. Cash payout to the top 3 teams. You will have a team captain, the team captain may substitute partners and retain points. Last Year the winning team went home with a pair of DPMS Rifles. Go to coyotehunter.net for full rules and details.
