Camo and Some Other Questions

Hi all. I've reading bout this coyote hunting for a few weeks now and I have a few questions.

First of all, I went out and bought my calls. I got a Sceery AP-2 and a Mad Calls Custom Cherry for howls. From what I've read, I won't be needing the howler, but I can't for the life of me figure out how to work it. Any tips?

Also how vital is camouflage and how far should my Jeep be from the stand?

Good camo never hurts you can certainly call in coyotes with no camo but movement is the key sit STILL

The further from the vehicle the better 3-400 yds is a good rule of thumb

Thanks for the reply. I'm in the desert here in the Mohave and was scared my jeep would give me away.

I will be going out this weekend. Wish me luck!

Desert Shadow work great in the desert. Best camo I have found to blend in with Sage.

Major Boddiker has a tape out called talking with coyotes that is in my opinion a great way to start if you want to get to be proficient with a howler.
