our 2010 bear hunt

Post by bucksnbears »

things looked real ggod when we got to camp on saterday but turned ugly real quick. acorns started dropping heavey and really shut down our baits. how in the hell can bear pass up a pile of fresh pasteries for an acorn i'll never know. i shot mine on opening night and Denise got hers last night. we both passed on smaller bear and Denise had a big one at 8 yards but it spotted her and boogered out. we had a great time and got meat in the freezer. (maybe enough for some swapmgas chili) mine was about 270, hers was a chocolate about 200. also got 2 bags of fresh wolf scat for Prairie Ghost. seen 4 wolves in 7 days. somebithches are gImageetting thick. deer hair in all the sImagecat :x

Thanks :) my bear is only the 3-4th minn. bear i've seen with a white chest cresant. common in other parts but not where i hunt. as a side note!!. i just spent 8 days with the wife bathing in a COLD lake every day, dragging bear out of nasty stuff in the dark.ect, and she never bitched 1 time about nothing :D .. well, maybe a little when the wolf scat bag leaked abit and leaked onto her bag of chockecherries she collected  my fault. she's bruised up big time and damn near ripped a finger off climbing out of her stand at dark one night. life is GOOD for BnB :D

whaaaat??? you never had a wolf scat / chockecherry samitch???. i called prairieghost and asked him if he had interest in wolf scat as i was seening multiple FRESH piles daily. he said he'd take all i could find so i started collecting it. ended up with a good pile (pun intended) :) one bag musta had a pin hole in it and leaked fluid out and ran over a few bags of c-cherries. god does wolf shat stink

okay I gotta ask, its driving me nuts now!!! Does wolf poop work on a trap line??? Just curious if that would make the coyote more nervous to approach a set since scat is a means of marking territory.
