culvert coyote

Post by bucksnbears »

left at dark tp go see if any deer were out and about. stopped on a no maintenence road to make a phone call on a bid i needed to get out. was talking away outside my blazer when i heard the grass swishing behind me. this coyote was inside the culvert underneth the aprroach i was parked on. had to tell the person on the phone to "hold on a second". grabbed my rifle and made a 125 yard running shot off hand. got back on the phone and finished business. Image

Is he wet, or missing belly fur? I shoot them in culverts almost every year. They like to shelter there from the wind and people like ME!
