Oh I hate that. Those volunteers always sting when they run off.

Jamie
The wife had me order her a jacket off here for her and I was telling her you like her camo choice then she said (well then he should give me a cap). She said to pass that on. LOL

Here are pics of my skinning shed. We insulated it and sheet rocked it this weekend. Also we got it ready for the fuel furnace by running the fuel line in the wall and putting the chimmney hole in. Just thought I would share.

I see you are showing off the wash tub. I took some 5/64 cable and ran it across my garage for hanging the stretchers. A couple of eye bolts in each end of the gable and stretch your cable. Workes like a champ.

A buddy of mine from Watford City came up and we went out early this morning for a few stands but no response at all. There are alot of pheasant hunters around here though and I think that may have some affect on things.

Same thing here in minnesota daryl. When those other hunters get out and start rasing a little heck in the area you call i am sure it doesn't help your odds at all.

Ok so this is how it went down. The past few days the wind has been nuts and I had this cool new Pure Predator call to try and it has been driving me crazy. So when I left work I called the wife and told her to get everything ready and have the guns in the truck so when I get home we can go out and make a stand. So by time I got home we had about a hour of sunlight left so off we went like a bat out of well you know. We got to our spot I put the wife down wind about 100yds. I was at like the 3 second mark of the first series when I saw this guy stick his head out of a brush pile 222yds straight ahead. I continued for about 2-3 minutes when he decided he would come take a look and I thought for sure he would circle and end up in the wifes lap but he came straight for me and at 52yds he was peeking over a little knob so I gave him one right in the neck. I wish I would have had the shotgun cause I think I could have got him real close since he pretty much gave me his wind. Pure Predator call and the old .220 widow maker together make a deadly combination.
Oh notice the bob tail
