A old picture taken on Skinnie (coyote) Patrol.
I used my Ruger 10/22 (carbine) loaded with CCI's Stinger round.
The shot was made about 40 yards away.

Re: Urban Skinnie
Nicely done!! Looks like you have to implement different tactics than what the rural people do

Re: Urban Skinnie
Thanks,
New to posting..my son is help'in me out.
To answer your question on details...I got alot of tactics/tips that had to be learned through trial and error hunting the urbanized skinnie (a name coined by locals).
I can make a new thread if you want. If ya think anyone might be interested in my hunting of the city educated coyote.
Just let me know....got a few more pics layin around also

Re: Urban Skinnie
put a thread up in the "coyote hunting" area. I have hunted coyotes in the urbs of Arizona. Prescott Valley, Chino Valley. Nothing like walking through someones back yard in camo totting a gun. We hop the fence and start hunting. Its all private property but you have to watch for people jumping the fence to go walk their dogs.

This could be very interesting topic!!! I am very itnerested in how you guys take care of coyote problems in a city I would be cool to here some of that tactics that you have employed in the past to get that targeted critter.

I am assuming the standard rifle has to stay in the truck when hunting in the city?
