I wish everyone who is attending the classic tommorrow good luck!! The weather doesn't look the best as of now but we will hope for the best. Feel free to stop by and shake a hand or two and or tip a couple beers back. For all you rookies this would be a perfect time to cut a few years of headaches out of your learning curve by talking to some of the veteran coyote hunters. Good Luck everyone and make it there safe :!:

P.S. Tbush, get some sleep fella; even the tazmanian devil gets tired in nut deep snow

Well gentelmen it has arrived and the weather gods were not with us. Me and Coyotehunters drive up was a mix of packed ice and snow to freezing rain it was grueling to say the least!!!

Everybody but three teams were able to make it to the rules meeting and calcutta auction and we had some alternate teams standing by to fill two of those spots. Everything went real smooth and there was even time for an adult beverage and a few coyote hunting lies before everyone called it a night and sacked in for the first day of the hunt.

Well mother natured decided to throw in a few surprises or speed bumps. We woke up at four this morning to a sheet of solid ice everywhere winds of 35-45mph and the interstate and highways closed up tight. We got all of the teams checked in and blocks in hand really wondering how many teams would bear the weather conditions. Well as you might assume every team took their blocks and ran to their pickups when we cut them loose without even blinking, remember these are coyote hunters LOLOLOL! Knowing the group of guys that hunts this tournament there most likely won't be much driving around being lazy today. Its going to take some serious will power and determination to put up a number today but the coyotes are still out there the guys are just going to have to climb right into bed with them.

Well thats it for know will try to post some results late tonight if time allows.

I started out this morning and then decided to turn around and come home. It a shame the damn weather had to be so harsh for the tournament. I was really looking forward to a few beers and shooting the breeze with everybody. From what it sounds, I made the right choice. I got this surprise yesterday. Image
