Post by bucksnbears »

i sent 5 coyotes up to the auction for the first time. these were shot in late march :D . 1 went for 88.00, 2 went for 64.00 and 2 were bought back. i'm quite happy with those prices. :D .

I think you did pretty well bucks! Next season you need to try and get one of those top lot $270 coyotes  Remeber guys there is a 11% commission (i think) plus a $1 per pelt drumming fee when you ship coyotes to NAFA. The cats are selling right now, and well top lots went really well like they all do, but the interest is drastically dropping off and people are saying 20% less than the last sale is what they are selling at.

Seeing what that sale did, and what guys were averaging on just about everything, these are some of the best fur averages we've had since the stock market crash of '89.

Coyotes were strong, even the crap.
'rats were strong.
Coon were strong, even the southern crap.
Mink were ok.
Beaver still suck  .
Ranch mink awere actually a profitable venture this year.

Enjoy it while it lasts as im sure it wont last to terribly long!
