Pretend time (wishful thinking)

I recently read that fur averages are roughly around 1/3rd what they were in the 1980s. Got me thinking........
Lets pretend for a moment that fur prices actually followed inflation rates.
Lets pretend for a moment that the fur boom of the 80's was still on.
What would fur be worth today? hmmmmmm. So I did some research and punched some numbers.
Well if we take the last NAFA sales averages, add .66% for the relative value compared to the 80's boom, add an inflation rate (from US Bureau of Labor) from 1986 to 2011 of 100.93%, we get............
Otter.......................$280
#1 Red Fox..................$84
Heavy Coyote..............$203 (I cant even dream this!)
Semi-Heavy Coyote........$75
Northern Coon..............$58 (Lyonch you'd be a rich bitch!)
Western Beaver............$46 (still horseshit)
#1 Rats......................$26
Northern Bobcat...........$267
Western Bobcat...........$803
