cb186 have you ever called at the park? This will be the third time i have done this and let me tell you it is a lot easier there then it is across a few miles out of the city  I have had coyotes stand down wind and just stare. with the amount of people they see running and biking on the trails it seems as though they are not bothered. Last couple times i never brought a camera and had some come really close. Its great practice and a good learning experience. If anything it will teach you patience while on stand and reading body language of a coyote. I will be there tonight and will try some locating on the northwest corner of the park. The wifes parents backyard buts right up to the park.
