Hello,
My family has a farm in Western Colorado. Over the last couple of years the amount of coyote sightings have dwindled while foxes now seem to be everywhere. Does anyone know why this is going on? Thank you.

hmm, not sure, but good news, I would much rather hunt fox than coyote. I averaged 120 fox a yr in this area before the mange hit, now mostly coyote, lucky to see 14 fox in a winter.

I don't see many fox over here at all. lots of things can have an effect on coyote/fox ratios.........to many to just take a stab in the dark. could be mange, control work in your area?, really would need more info.
