A friend told me if you let the porcupine lay for a couple days you can pull all the hairs out real easy. I don't know where you can sell them, like already said , there is a market for them.

Thanks for the tip Jerry. I would really hate to see levi come running to me asking me to pull the quills out of his a$$ cause he didn't let one lay long enough or put a solid kill on one :P

The rottener the better! I will let them lay for up to a week in the garage before plucking. If they pull hard you will break the hairs and end up with about half of what you should have. Or really fresh, pluck them within a couple hours of killing it. If you are looking for a buyer contact me. Upwards of $10.00 depending on hair length and size of porky.

Thumpper23,
My partner and I shot 6 during the Classic this year. We saved them until the last day and then dumped them. I thought you were going to be there, but looking back at the post I read, I was wrong. We usually see 10-12 during the Classic. If you will be at the Classic next year, let me know we will try to line some for you, if you are interested.

You guys gotta hunt where the trees are. We'll take you up on the side bet of most shot. That will give us something to do during the slow time. Losers have to buy the first couple rounds and do the chicken dance in front of everyone Sat. before the awards are handed out. What do you think?

It sounds like a humilating challenge but one that needs to be done  Insted of the chiken dance we should have to do the harley pillow positioning that jamie does so well. I dont know levi its a couple of rookie porky hunters against some season veterans

I had planned on doing the hunt but a broken transmission in the truck kept me from doing it. If you get any more let me know I do travel to dickinson frequently and could pick them up. I have relatives in South Heart and a friend in New England. Shame to let a good porky go to waste.

I talked with Hook last night, IT'S ON BOYS!!!! I doesn't really matter which dance you want to do before the awards, just as long as you do it well. Start practicing now...

Later,
