Alaska Sheep hunt
Chasing Dall sheep in the Wrangle Mts.
Saw 9 rams, One legal ram that gave us the slip ( broomed both horns ) and spent 2 days chasing one ram that was about 3/4" shy of legal ( judged @ 150YDS with 60X Swaro spotter ) we packed everything in on our backs. Climbed a 6640 peak couple of times and several smaller peaks. Saw a good Billy but due to not having a harvest ticked he is still breathing....
We were in a full curl and non motor area, rode bikes 8 miles and walked 3 days to get were we began seeing rams..

Norm,
Awesome pics, started breathin hard, and sweatin just looking at the terrain. Anyone who hunts in that stuff would get in shape in a hurry or die!!!! I think we need to come up with a ewe, nanny, in heat sound to get those rams coming to us!!! Thanks for sharing!

Re: Alaska Sheep hunt
Neat. Thanks for sharing.
I'm headed to west slope of CO in a couple weeks with great intentions of filling my cow elk tag (and my empty freezer). Will bring the camera... and should be able to return with a story.
