Within state regs, when do you other folks start your trapping seasons and what are you targeting? Or, when do you start trapping and what for, specifically?

Rats, beaver, mink open oct 22 here. Will be trapping all 3. Fox ,coon,coyote open all year. I start with fox in mid Oct.Don't trap coon or coyote. Would like to trap marten and Bobcat but won't have time.

coyotes oct 1st, fox,coon oct 23rd and rats,otter,beaver the 30th of oct

most of the seasons open before the animals are fully prime but it is nice to have some time to get your line hammered out. you just have to start pelting a few and see how they are coming along. November is a great month for everyone but lots of deer hunters out as well. My best month is December. Cats are not quiet fully prime yet but the coyote coon and fox will be looking great.

Dec, 1 through Feb 28, is Bobcat season in Oregon. Started skinning coyotes last week. Had ten in the freezer from last year and four fresh ones in the last week. Need to get started washing and stretching,,,,,,and sewing

I married a Vet so you'd think she would do a guys sewing but NO.....I do have some cool stuff to sew with though and she showed me some pretty cool ways to do it. Haven't been docked yet that I know of.
