I have been thinking about getting rid of my binocs and rangefinder for a pair of Leica 10x42 Geovid binoculars with built in rangefinder. Just wondering if anyone has a pair and how they like them?

My dad has the leica rangefinder and it is awesome. As far as the binoculars go im sure they are awesome too. As a combo im not sure but i know most everything that leica makes it top notch stuff!!! I would say get'em

I have heard good things, I was thinking about purchasing a pair in the future!

I tried a pair last summer. I spotted some deer a long way off across a draw and I asked how far my buddy thought it was and he said 1350 yards. I said whatever then he let me look threw his 12x42s'. I pushed the button and sure enough 1353 yards. WOW!!

I was thinking about 10x42's but thats good to hear. Thanks for the reply.

A bit heavy but very nice!Wish I could pull the trigger on a set but lots of $$.

I have a pair of burris, but to heavy and not as clear in low light otherwise they work great when I've used them, but inside 500 yards I'm pretty good at estimating and never need them

Tbush are yours 10x?? And can you range a coyote at 500 or beyond with them?

Geovids are heavy and bulky,,,,

I have a CRF 1200 and it is TINY !!

The way I set up my gear I prefer to have Bino's and a seperate rangefinder. My Swaro 10 X 42's are out in the cold while my Leica range finder is next to my chest warm to extend battery life. Not very hard to dig it out to range a critter....

Have a couple buds that money isn't a problem that jumped on the geo's, they don't talk much about them anymore !!

My favorite BINO is the Leica 10 X 42 although the Swaro isn't far behind....

Daryl, they're only 7x40 and never ranged a coyote with them, but deer well out to 1200-1300 yds, oh and did range an antelope at 800 but missed

Daryl, my calling partner bought a pair two years ago the 12X, they are great, they will range quickly and accurately out to long ranges on stand. Spendy but nice, I have the Leupold combo and they work well also, not as good but half the money if not less than that but only a 8X or 10X I don't remember. If you can afford them they are the best I have seen!

Daryl, been going ten different ways most days, all done with pheasant hunters, prairie dogs, looks like beaver is done so now it's time to gear up to coyotes. Contests and work, those binos are nice, if you can afford it they are the best from what i have seen.

Spendy but remarkable my partner just got a pair and as far as ranging i have seen nothing that will compare to how fast and accurate they range

Thanks for the input PG. Keeps looking more and more like I should get them. My christmas present to myself Some of you say they are bulky and heavy. They can't be much different then carrying binocs and a rangefinder. I would like to be able to look and range with one unit instead of looking then digging out the rangefinder and ranging. We will see.
