Good dog to get out of my calving pasture. Would probably not win any beauty pagents either. I wonder how he lost half of his tail?

was it a male or female? I am assuming that dog has been on that pasture for awhile creating all kinds of hell for the rancher!

Way to go Dusty those are the ones that you really like to get rid of this time of year before the calves hit the ground!! How did he meet his demise?

Ducksmuggler you can have those "water coffins" i'll shoot my ducks from the boat or the land 8)

ImageImage fox are getting easier to see now that the snow has firmed up. seen 7 in the last 2 hours of daylight. snuck up on 3, killed 2. passed on 1 small pale one. check out the entry on the one. :) lip squeked it to about 200 and put the xhairs right on the tip of the nose  fur is really holding up nice :)

PG, he stuck his head through one of my snares. He was one of three big males that were running together. Is that unusual to have that many males running together this time of year? Nice job on the fox BNB. :D Our fox here are alot uglier than those .

Dusty no it isn't alot of the time it will be a few males and one or two females all chasing and romancing. I see a lot of calving problem calls that are a group of old males and one female. I have removed as many as five males all running together on a the calving grounds with a mixture of age but more than one "mature" in the group

I was going through some old pictures on the camera this morning and found some that I forgot I had. The first one is of my portable skinning gambrel that I made.(you will see the significacnce of this picture later.) The coyote on it weighed 32.7#.

The second picture is of my 2007 lion. It weighed 12 pounds more than this years.

The third is of the lion on my gambrel.

Just bored this morning waiting to go set some more cat traps today. Thought some of you might enjoy the pics.

Dusty, nice pic's!! 8) 8) Were the cat's trapped, or shot? If they were called. What kind of sounds were used! Just curious, wouldn't mind calling in an elusive Nodak cougar!   (Better chance of winning the lottery with my arm around Heidi Klum!!)
