You may well be on to something. Let us know how that works out would you? We have so much wire around here that coyotes don't seem to mind sticking their head through un-painted snare loops.

well this is probably not as much of a issue on fence. We do have a ton of guys and history our here with fence snares. We do have some, and you can see it in the snow that will avoid holes in the fence. I can not say with a 100% certainty if it is the snare hanging there or not but the more you dress it up the better you will do out herre. Lots of snare pressure in this country.
