Just picked up this complete package at the LGS for $500. Fairly sure it is a 1:10 twist as it isn't marked other than SUM 243 WSSM.

Haven't had a chance to take it out yet, but this is the only ammo I have as I haven't picked up the dies to reload yet. How does this ammo perform?

All that for $500!!??

SUM stands for broach cut and it would be a 1X10 twist.

Yep $400 plus tax for the complete rifle, three mags and two full boxes of ammo. I found another three boxes of ammo for $25 clearance at Walmart. Not sure what the LGS was thinking on the rifle. I guess they just didn't want to mess with the 243 wssm upper and convert it and didn't know much about the caliber.

WOW didn't realize that....I ended up trading it for a RRA 6.8 with a 20" bull barrel.

I actually traded it. I shot 20 rounds thru it and while it was hard deciding to part with, I just felt I was doing the right thing. I traded for a RRA coyote carbine that had been converted to a rifle length gas system and a 20" target crown ARP barrel. He also included the reloading components.Image
