Anyone have these or heard any likes/dislikes about them? I've heard mixed reviews. I know Leica's are the way to go but for $700 are these a good buy?

Agree on that , plus they were not crisp and clear at all, almost a haze look......

This is just my opinion... The range finder on this works great. I ranged a coyote at 1537yds and a buddy of mine ranged it at 1538yds with a Lecia... so pretty close. However I found them cumbersome to use. The focus rings on the eyecups were always out of focus and had to be re-adjusted... and the clarity was not to my expectations. I saw what I thought was a blue haze all the time. In low light they were terrible. I kept trying to use them thinking I was doing something wrong... I have since returned them. Now, they do work well on a prairie dog town when it is bright and sunny. But I don't get to do that as often as I would like to. I think if they get the glass to brighten up so to speak they would have a great product and well worth the money. I am sure others have had better luck with them, I just can't seem to get them to work for me.

Jeff.

Thanks Jeff. I've heard many of the same things you have come across. I don't know what I'll go with but I definitely want good glass so it won't be these. Thanks again.

Not trying to sway you either way... but the old saying "you get what you pay for" is true in this situation. Don't skimp on glass or you will be dissapointed. Good luck with your decision. If you want to visit more by all means give me a shout at the office... it's easier than typing. 605-224-6665

Is your Leica the geovids or just he crf range finder? Thinking about tossing the Leupold rangefinder and picking up a new Leica 1600 rangefinder. cant afford the geovids unfortunately.
