i know where 2 dens are and the pups are staying close yet. but there spunky as hell

Seeing everything from your average two month old pups to two week old scars on lactating females. Another year of a wide variety of litter born dates.

I've only seen two groups. The first the pups are about the size of a fox pup and the other group the pups where knee high or just below.. I may go out this week again and see if i can find them and try to get some pic's....

The biggest i've seen so far were using holes that were 50-75yds apart. Big enough that a man could not catch on foot. Just starting to be able to hear them howl while locating.

I found a den site this morning with 3 den sites within twenty yards... Looked like she has moved them from all three... only one had fresh tracks the others had cobwebs....

Was able to call a large male, on my second stand... but I rushed the shot, as he was barreling in at forty yards.... I should have had the shotgun...

Well at least it was him and not her! Were you able to positively identify it as the male or were you just assuming off of the size ect?
