wolves and buffalo

Post by bucksnbears »

met a guy that raise bison and was going to slaughter 13 today. i asked if i could arrow 1 and he said sure so the wife n i went there early this morning. these were 3 year old bulls. a few got nervous and jumped the coarral, boy can they jump   . anyway they dissapeared in the timber, very remote area. we tried tracking them down but the snow was nads deep and could'nt catch up to them. they were heading east so i went to the nearest road east to see if they crossed and found 2 sets of smoking hot wolf tracks crossing into the same section as the bulls.. one of the bulls was wounded and dripping blood from a poor placed shot from another guy. the owner said the bulls will eventully come home and the wolves wont bother them. we offered to stay and help get them home buthe saiid he was'nt worried i think if two mature wolves find a wounded bison in the middle of deep snow and big timber it's friggen snack time.
