first time hunter
i've read alot about people setting in stands to get there coyote but what do you guy do when you are on the ground? have any of you made up some kind of blind or do you just set with your back against a tree or something? getting ready to go for the first time in a couple of weeks and want it to be a good first trip out.

Re: first time hunter
I have never used a store bought ground blind while coyote hunting but I always try to breakup my outline. I will site with my back against a cutout in the hillside or up against a fence post with a little brush around . A full on ground blind is kinda constrictive you need to be able to swing your rifle for the closeup qiuck shots. I guess the reason I dont use tree stands here in Ca there arnt any good trees to hang one in all the live oak and white oak are so crooked and twisted tree stans are impossible to use.
