I shoot a lot of coyotes wiht a shot gun. you will be surprised on what can be done with a well placed 12 ga 3" 4 buck. 45-50 shoud be know problem with the right choke tube but you to have to do some patterning with your set up. I have great luck with 12 ga 3 1/2" #2Hevi shot. I would have no problem with a 75 yard shot with this load in my Bennilli. very expensive though.
