Cool looking rifle matt. I like how you mix and match your camo wrap and when those coyotes see that coyotehunter.net decal the first thing that is going to come to their mind is "OH SHIT IM F'ED NOW!!! ". Im in the process of attempting to paint my guns and i will post a pic when they are done. I will try to paint them around march sometime or during the off season.

Thanks, they were both wrapped in brush for the NDCC but we have lots more snow here so some white had to go on, just trying to break it up a little. I just fiddled with it today and thought it looked good like that.

Matt-

yes I did paint the bipod but that has been a few years now and needs more paint and then some clear and that should help it last longer. I never put clear on the first time.. but it was better shiny black, it turned out good

well this is my .22-.250 AI, leupold 4x12, shilen trigger, shilen match 26" barrel, blueprinted action, blah blah blah, kitchen sink..looks like hell but it has killed a few coyotes over the years.

Matt, I love the sticker on your gun. Just about brought a tear to my eye.

I bet that fine piece of equpiment has shot many dogs in its day! It reminds me of my dad 22-250! Shot more predators than I have seen with it!

Well I painted my .220 Swift and added a new 6-24x50 Nikon Monarch. I thought it was nice before but a real good coyote hunter I know told me it doesn't take a pretty gun to kill coyotes it takes a effective one and the glares from glossy guns and scopes aren't always the best so I took his advice and installed a new matt finished scope and painted the rest of the rifle. The old version killed coyotes so I hope this new painted version kills more with the cut down of glare. :?

Well after shooting, cleaning and handleing the gun the spray paint proved to be not very durable so I had Steve Wald a local gunsmith spray it with a heavy duty bake on paint and add some stripes to break it up. He also put a SVL recoil pad on it. I also now have my balistic chart to 700yds on the obj end of the scope so I can turn and burn.

well the only way that gun could look prettier is if you had something dead laying in front of it. :D
