Fricken Marty is a head shooter

.. I try my best. sometimes when 4-5 come out of a nest you just try to get a bullet in all of them. the singles are the easier ones

This beaver shooting sounds like it would be a blast. In minnesota i can't shoot beavers legally, but i know the red river isn't too far away and i just might have to talk levi into a little trip of floating the red wacking beaver this spring

Mitch, do you guys use .22's to shoot them.

We better let the Red River settle down a bit during the spring, it might be mighty high again!

a .22mag in the back of the head with a heavy bullet works great but I have shot a bunch with a 12 ga shotgun. I have also pulled in more than a few that were plenty alive coming over the side of the boat. I was with a guy who got bit in the forearm as he was grabbing for it to haul it in. It has been awhile, I think he was in the other boat when it happened. I have had them charge me in the boat as well.

I've only been catching about one a year so far where i live. If you were to head further west, and a little north i think you can find a lot of them willing to step on a pan of a trap
