I'll be in the Carrington tournament this weekend with bucksnbears, so hopefully she'll draw first blood as soon as this weekend!

nope, savage model 12

shooter, when shooting in the barrel, don't worry so much about group size right off as every time you clean the barrel there will always be some solvent or whatever you use after cleaning it. make sure you shoot a coulpe rounds through it to rid the barrel of it before sighting in for good.

if they had more i would get as many as i could get my hands on. cb186, howd you do the trigger???
did a little honing to smooth out the sear surfaces and flattened out the angle a little too. took me about 45 minutes and was my first trigger job. turned out way better than i expected. glad i didnt spend the money on an aftermarket trigger. i also extended my bolt handle 1" for better clearance and filler the forearm and buttstock with some steel putty i had laying around to put some weight into the cheap stock.
