LOL you have to love cyberspace. Ill give you an idea on how bad the ticks are in this area. I went to shoot my rifle last week at my parents and i walked about 150 yards through the grass one way to my gongs to paint them up and then walked back and that was it. I counted and pulled off 38 woodticks. There was 6 of them that were deer ticks adn the rest regular wood ticks. It was a poor shooting outing for me cause everytime i was ready to pull the trigger i could feel one of those little bastards crawling on me on places i dont like them too and of course it breaks concentration. At least i was able to work on distractions while shooting

Dcoy you hit it on the head when you said that levi and i are mechanically inclined. I know i was raised where the guy takes care of the outside work and farm work and the ladies stay inside and cook and clean and take care of that work. (No offense Jessie and other ladies who view the post). As a long as a fella is happy in life and shootin/trappin coyotes what is there to complain about
P.S. Dcoy this spring was good turkey huntin 5 turkeys in 6 days of hunting

I live in a small farming comuinity, here the men did all the hard work and provided for the famalies. The women would do all the house chores and come fall where in charge of the butchering of chickens, pigs and cows.. The women also took care of cleaning the ducks and pheasants when we got together and hunted them. My wife also came from a farming famaly so some of the things are'nt new to her... She said the fox and coyotes are'nt bad to work on but she has drawn the line with the Mink and will not touch one of them. I also have a friend that traps and lives up north and his trapping is a family buisness, all the members help out with what needs to be done...

I think the couples that love to hunt and fish and trap together is GREAT! Myself i like to look at hunting as my time and soon to be "our time" (when my boys grow up) If my wife asked to come with i would surely bring her but i wouldn't want it to be everytime i went. I believe time for me to hunt and my wife to do her things (shopping, reading) is healthy. Time away makes you realize what you have....believe me! It has been a month since i have seen my wife!
