December Dog...

So I decided to take my dad with me for a second set of eyes and we got to a good looking stand. We parked, got to the stand and started calling, and nothing. It was just too good of a stand to leave so I did a few more series. After about 27 minutes, I spotted this one bouncing over sage brush about 1/2 mile out. I told dad there was one coming and to not move. Coming in perfectly, but for some reason my dad could not wait move his shooting sticks. Sure enouugh he hung up at 200 yds and I saved the stand by blowing off the bag leg with a quick shot but followed up with a quick kill shot.
Next stand nothing.
As we were driving to the next stand we spot one down the fence line of the pasture we were going to call in. So I drive down to an area that I can make a series to call him in. After the second series, one comes trotting over the hill. I whisper over my shoulder to my dad don't move. The yote is out 150 yards and stops for 2 seconds and immediatly turns around running... wtf ... I asked dad what he thought happened and he said he started moving to get a shot..... wtf dad .... wtf. . . .Both stands I was set up perfect for the 50 yd shot we all work so hard for. Anyway, got the dog above. Heavy Male for my parts.
Could have called all day long with the perfect weather but had to help my brother move..
