Wifes First Time ....

NOT WHAT YOU THINK, YOU PERVERTS !!!
Was able to sneak away for a 1/4 day with the Wifey. Made two stands before dark and saw 6 coyotes total.
First stand we were walking in and saw one hunting so we dropped and began calling. 4 decided to come and play, my wife ended up barly missing one @ around 200 YDS. ( her first time she ever shot at or was involved in calling one )
Ran into allot of posted land in a new area so had plenty of time to warm up before the next stand. It was getting cold fast !!!
Second stand was a beautiful spot with a high overlook with several fingers coming into the draw below our stand. After several series on the ruffy dog a rock pile @ 480 YDS grew a coyote !!
She did a great job at moving only when the coyote was out of sight got all set up and made a great shot at 212 YDS ranged after the shot.
I told her to hold the crosshairs right between her eyes and that is exactly where the bullet hit !
She thought the snowsneakers worked well. On the first stand we both were cruising along then poped over the hill and I noticed the coyote hunting in a field 700YDS away. He didn't hear us and we called him in in dead still conditions.

Then I see the second coyote come over the hill and a couple of Ki- Yi's later he hangs up around 600 YDS and she let one fly he was very lucky as she missed by less than a foot to the left of him elevation was PERFECT. I told her if she pulled that one off she would get a gold star !! Next time !
We figured since it was dark and 20 below we would go home and eat dinner.

she's just now starting to like like ac/dc.on the radio.she ai'nt worth a crap on runners but pretty damn good at stationary targets. i firmly believe that alot more women would enjoy hunting more if the guys would'nt bring up #,scores,ect. sounds to me like you got a winner. check out the "more pics" post and you'll see mine with several animals
