hunting with hounds puts a whole new twist on things. the guy that showed me and my brothers about hounds chased one down a mineshaft with one other guy and all they had was a single six with 22 mags and a bic lighter for light. they went in and the dogs in the shaft scared the lion out which ran over the top of them on its way out of this tiny mineshaft. another guy with them decides to come down the shaft and scares the lion back into the mineshaft running over the two guys comin back out of the shaft. so they have to go back into the shaft to get the lion and dogs... the lion didnt make it.
i always thought bears were a bigger scary predator until i hunted them with hounds. after poking one in the ass with a stick at 6 ft to keep it from coming down the tree, they dont seem so scary. when i get time i will post some pics so u guys know im not full of BS.

Lions are a very serious predator the problem is if they attack you won't know until you are on your back and seeing Jesus!

I thought Mitch was crazy, crawling through brush with a rifle after wounded coyotes. This is just plain nuts. A cat that's got me by 20lbs, well within pouncing distance and me with a pistol, I'll pass.

we were at the park last weekend with the kids and friends. Some other kids found a rattle snake, a friend of mine went over to check it out and caught. Brings it over to me, he kills it, I skinned it and we throw it on the grill. couple of minutes later we are eating rattle snake. Not to shabby.
